Welcome to our website !
Disney Life has launch in the UK and with one-month free trial (£9.99 a month after that). The media streaming platform is now available for people in the UK to use online or through mobile and tablet devices to access movies, TV shows, music, books and apps. The cost of £9.99 a month covers unlimited streaming with the option to create up to six profiles and use with up to 10 devices. This doesn't seem too bad in comparison to things like Netflix that for the top price of £8.99 only allows 4 screens at a time.

For those nostalgic over the old Disney Channel TV shows of the 90’s and 00’s you may enjoy the chance to access episodes of Kim Possible (season 1), That’s So Raven (season 1), Recess (season 1), DuckTales (season 1&2), The Little Mermaid (season 1,2&3), Timon & Pumbaa (season 1&2), The Emperor’s New School (season 1&2), Lilo & Stitch (season 1&2) and Quack Pack (season 1). There is also a selection of shows from the Disney Channel, Disney Junior and Disney XD.

Along with TV shows there’s also a wide range of movies with choices from animated classics, shorts, Pixar, Disney Channel originals, and live-action.

Although I'm sure many Disney fans probably already own most of the films on DVD/Bluray I think the unique features to DisneyLife are having access to behind the scenes videos and classic cartoons that are hard to get hold of.

July is finally here! That means just 24 days until the UK release of Disney Pixar's Inside Out. This also means continuing to avoid spoilers from USA who have had access to the film since their release on 19th June. Check out the film's story here: Inside Out Story

So far the characters have been introduced through last months Tsum Tsum Tuesday release and a range of merchandise from Disney Store. The items are suitable for children and adults of any gender, targeting a wider market than previous film products. The collection includes clothing, soft toys, collectable figures, stationary, toys and drinkware. They can already be found online or in stores.

Official Character Descriptions

Anger: Meet Anger

"Anger feels very passionately about making sure things are fair for Riley. He has a fiery spirit and tends to explode (literally) when things don't go as planned. He is quick to overreact and has little patience for life's imperfections."

Disgust: Meet Disgust

"Disgust is highly opinionated, extremely honest and prevents Riley from getting poisoned - both physically and socially. She keeps a careful eye on the people, places and things that Riley comes into contact with - whether that's broccoli or last year's fashion trend. Disgust always has the best of intentions and refuses to lower her standards."

Fear: Meet Fear

"Fear's main job is to protect Riley and keep her safe. He is constantly on the lookout for potential disasters, and spends time evaluating the possible dangers, pitfalls and risk involved in Riley's everyday activities. There are very few activities and events that Fear does not find to be dangerous and possibly fatal."

Joy: Meet Joy

"Joy's goal has always been to make sure Riley stays happy. She is lighthearted, optimistic and determined to find the fun in every situation. Joy sees challenges in Riley's life as opportunities, and the less happy moments as hiccups on the way back to something great. As long as Riley is happy, so is Joy."

Sadness: Meet Sadness

"None of the other Emotions really understand what Sadness's role is. Sadness would love to be more optimistic and helpful in keeping Riley happy, but she finds it so hard to be positive. Sometimes it seems like the best thing to do is just lie on the floor and have a good cry."

While we wait for the release we can enjoy the trailer

Disney

"I Do Believe in Fairies!"

Disney are once again adding to the list of Classic animation films being adapted into Live Action. Victoria Strouse, script writer for the upcoming Pixar film Finding Dory, is currently working on the script and Reese Witherspoon may play the starring role. Reese Witherspoon will also be producing the feature with Bruna Papandrea through their banner Pacific Standard.

Since 2008 Tinker Bell has become a key character for Disney with their Disney Fairies franchise which to date has seven animated movies starring Tinker Bell and her friends in Pixie Hollow. There are few details yet as to whether the Live Action will have any connection to these films or be a retelling of the Disney Classic Peter Pan, showing a new side to the story.

Disney
The Tinker Bell animated movies introduce Tinker Bell from her birth and discovery of who she is, set before she meets Peter Pan. The film series shows the character as a kind, curious and skilled fairy who helps her friends.

Perhaps the Live Action will explain what happened for Tinker Bell to become the jealous and quick-tempered fairy as seen in the animated Peter Pan.

Nearly a year and a half since the release of the first film the hype still continues with merchandise selling fast and practically everyone being able to at least hum (although mostly sing all the words) to the academy award winning song 'Let It Go'.
