Tsum Tsums have been taking over the UK! With Clintons stores original releases selling out entirely and Disney Store limited releases being sold out in minutes it is no surprise that these cute little creatures are quickly spilling into peoples homes. With the fun aim of being able to stack them anyway you can, people have been getting creative with storing their Tsums.

Laura from Disneyland Paris Where Dreams Are Made group has used Ikea plastic greenhouses. They are available as a set of three for £8 with the larger one being able to house over 20 Tsums and the smaller ones holding up to 9 each. This is a great way to keep them stacked and viewable from all angles.

Zoë on Disney Tsum Tsum Community UK found these cute square floating shelves at Poundstretcher. They also come as a set of 3 for £6.99 and in four colours options, white, black, blue or pink. This is great way to present them and incorporate them into your room designs.

Abigail on Disney Tsum Tsum - Buy, Trade, Sell has showcased her growing collection in hexagonal boxes from Tiger. Each box is £5 and has background colour options of pink, turquoise and yellow. Not only can the Tsums be stacked inside but the boxes can be stacked together too allowing for expanding collections.

Here at Disney Downtime we have found a wooden house from Tiger for £5. The box was originally plain but can be customised to any design. This one has been decorate by decoupage with Disney paper from Primark.

If you have any other great ideas for storing Tsums please share your comments and photos below.

So far the characters that are available include sets from Toy Story, Frozen, Cinderella, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, and Mickey and Friends. There are also some stand alone characters such as Jiminy Cricket and Perry the Platypus.

A new collection will be released on the first Tuesday of every month - "Tsum Tsum Tuesdays."

For every Tsum Tsum you purchase you can collect 1 token/stamp, if you collect 25 you can receive a free silver limited edition pin and for 50 you can get a gold limited edition pin. Disney store website are also offering half price delivery when you purchase a Tsum Tsum.

The next collection, which will be released on 7th April, will be from Alice in Wonderland. This set will include Alice, The White Rabbit, The Mad Hatter, The King, The Queen of Hearts, The Cheshire Cat, The Dormouse and The March Hare.

Check them all out at the Disney Store website: http://www.disneystore.co.uk/tsum-tsum/mn/1503506/
We have already started stacking them up!

If you have purchased Disney movies on either DVD or Blu-ray you may have noticed a leaflet inside the case for Disney Movie Rewards. This is a brilliant scheme that allows you to collect points to get free items. You can check out the website without having to make an account to see the rewards as well as eligible titles to obtain points. To start building up points you then need to set up an account by just using your email address and setting a password.

The best time to make use of this scheme is by taking advantage of the buy 1 get 1 free promotions that are often in stores such as Disney Store, HMV and Supermarkets as well as online at places like Amazon. If you choose to redeem your points to get a new Dvd or Blu-ray you will then also get points from that.

Although everything is explained on the website here is some more information. Each leaflet has a unique Magic Code that you enter onto the site. It is best to keep the leaflet inside the case it came with as you may be asked to enter the barcode to prove you have the accompanying item. Once you confirm this the points are added to your account and can be seen on the home page.

If you have enough points you can then choose an item or save them up. You can collect a free DVD for 500 points, a Blu-ray for between 750-850 points or a 3D Blu-ray for 900 points. Once you choose your reward it will be posted to your address and although they say to allow up to 28 days it will usually arrive within a week. This scheme can help you quickly expand your movie collection or you can obtain unique items.

Tsum Tsums are going to be released across UK Disney Stores on 31st March 2015. Until then Disney have a competition for a lucky someone to win a Disney Tsum Tsum starter pack. The competition is running from the 17th March until the 14th April 2015. To enter you just need to register or login to the Disney website from the competition page:

This morning Disney released two new limited edition dolls. The designs are modeled on actress Lily James who plays the leading roll in the live-action film. There are two different styles, with different price tags to go with them, the wedding dress at £300 and the blue ballgown £100. The UK online release was at 7am this morning, Friday 13th March, and the wedding doll has already sold out. Here are the dolls as featured on the Disney store website:

To the disappointment of collectors there are people who purchase the dolls purely to gain profit reselling on sites such as Ebay, the sold out wedding doll has been listed on the UK and US Ebay sites ahead of the Disney store releases with the prices over double the retail value.
Tsum Tsums have rolled their way to the UK!
These soft cute plush toys began in Japan with the idea that they can be collected and stacked, with their suede bellys they also double as phone screen cleaners. After their initial release in Japan they made their way across to the US and have finally arrived in the UK.

They are for now exclusively available at Clinton Cards online and in stores. Since their release on 15th February there have been 2 sets of characters released the first including Mickey, Minnie, Daisy, Donald, Pooh, Tigger, and Eeyore and the second set of Chip, Dale, Dumbo, Goofy, Piglet, Pluto, Lady and Stitch. The miniature sizes are £3 each and there are certain characters also available in medium size at £15 and the large £25. The next set to be released will feature the Toy Story characters and is expected to reach stores Mid-March.
